Film yang diangkat dari seri video game dengan judul yang sama, The Angry Birds. Film The Angry Birds Movie merupakan film animasi beraroma komedi tahun 2016 yang hadir di 2 negara, Amerika dan Finlandia.

Sebelumnya, film ini dijadwalkan akan dirilis bulan Juli, tepatnya tanggal 1 Juli 2016, namun pada bulan Desember 2014 Sony Pictures Entertainment selaku pemegang hak atas The Angry Birds Movie setelah ada kesepakatan dengan Rovio Entertainment, akhirnya pada 20 Mei 2016 film ini resmi dirilis ke seluruh dunia.

Film ini disutradarai oleh Fergal Reilly dan Clay Kaytis dan dibintangi oleh suara Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader dan Peter Dinklage.

Sinopsis 

Film The Angry Birds Movie bercerita tentang sebuah pulau yang dihuni hampir seluruhnya oleh burung dan hidup tentram dan damai. Di surga ini, ada Red (Jason Sudeikis), burung yang mempunyai masalah dengan emosinya, yang selalu marah tanpa alasa.

Tapi ketika pulau ini dikunjungi oleh piggies hijau yang misterius, keadaan mulai berubah. Babi-babi itu mulai diketahui oleh Ross (Tony Hale) dan Earl (Black Shelton) dan pemimpinnya, Leonard (Bill Harder) dan mulai menyelidiki maksud tersembunyi apa maskud dibalik kedatangan para babi di surga kecil mereka tersebut.
